There are a lot of great apps for smartphones & tablets which help us do our jobs just a little more efficiently.  Some are kitschy, while others are extremely worthwhile.  Here, I give a short description and links to some of the more useful ones I have found and/or use myself.

Final Draft Writer & Reader. Writer lets you write, edit and read Final Draft scripts on your iPad. Create new scripts or edit existing ones with easy-to-use features.  Reader simply lets you read a script.  Aptly named.  Reader is free, but worth it.

Movie Magic Scheduling To Go ... since I posted this awhile ago, it seems to have disappeared.  Did they stop supporting this?

I don't know of any.  Do you?

I don't have anything listed here now, but I will soon.

Google Drive:  I am a big fan of having a lot of files online for the crew.  In doing so, you can save paper and allow people to get things on their own.  Like adults.

Storm: Weather Underground is my weather service of choice.  Their mobile app is really nice and accurate.
